About Us

Why Notos?

We like to think of ourselves, like a lot of Rhosneigr, as being ‘wind-powered’. ‘Notos’ represents our love for the local area and our passion for being in the ocean enjoying the beauty of the natural environment. The name Notos, the Greek God of south prevailing winds, embodies this connection as when the wind blows in a southerly direction in Rhosneigr it makes for prime watersports conditions.

We hope a visit to us brings the same feelings of excitement and joy in our visitors that we get when a southerly breeze flicks across the Irish Sea.

Sounds great, so what do you serve?

We are a café-deli serving quality, healthy food sourced from local providers as well as speciality coffee that stands out from the crowd. Our mission is to offer delicious food, a friendly atmosphere and great service no matter the weather.

We care about showcasing the best local produce, protecting the planet, and offering delicious vegetarian & vegan options and all our suppliers are handpicked so we can be proud of every dish we serve.

Our Values

As a café we want to support our local area however we can, whether it’s through ensuring we have sustainability initiatives in place to help protect North Wales’ stunning natural beauty or using local suppliers wherever possible, we are committed to offering quality food that doesn’t cost the Earth.

Our oceans bring us so much joy and protecting them is something that matters deeply to us. We hope that through our environmental initiatives and the produce & products we offer you too can join us in our efforts to protect our pale blue dot.
